❤️ A Message from Our Founder

Why I Started softheartco

In June 2025, something shifted inside me. After years of carrying the silent weight of losing my brother Michael, I finally said out loud what I hadn’t been ready to admit: “It’s time.”

Two weeks later, I launched softheartco.

This brand was born from loss, but it’s built on love—with a simple message:
we see you. we hear you. you matter.
you are not a burden❤️.

What softheartco Means to Me

To me, softheartco isn’t about clothing—it’s about connection.
It’s about showing up for each other in quiet, meaningful ways.

Being human means we all carry something. And sometimes, the smallest act—a kind word, a conversation, a shared silence—can make the biggest difference.

The name softheart is a reminder that vulnerability is not weakness.
There’s strength in openness. Courage in honesty. Power in compassion.

We’re here to challenge the lie that asking for help is something to be ashamed of.
Because it’s not.
It’s brave. And it saves lives.

💔 Michael

Two days before my brother passed, I was driving up I-91 when I felt something I couldn’t ignore. A voice, clear and direct:
“Go see your brother.”

So I did. I turned the car around and went to his job.

He looked off that day—tired, distant. We spoke, but he never looked me in the eye.
I didn’t know it then, but that would be the last time I saw him.

As I left, he said just two words:
“Be careful.”

A few days later, I found his note.

There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t replay that moment.
I wish he knew he wasn’t alone. That he mattered. That he was loved.

softheartco exists so no one else ever has to question those things.

🤝 What We Hope You Feel

When you wear softheartco, I hope you feel comfort.
I hope you feel seen.
And maybe, just maybe, someone else sees you wearing it—and feels safe enough to open up.

This brand is about more than apparel. It’s about creating safe spaces.
Starting hard conversations.
Reminding people that they’re not alone.

If we can help just one person choose life instead of loss—then this is worth everything.

🧠 The Change We Need

People sometimes say it takes courage to end your life.
I think real courage is living through the pain.
It’s asking for help when everything inside you says not to.

Michael didn’t feel like he had that strength in his final moments.
But my mission is to help others find it.

softheartco is about community, connection, and hope.
Thank you for being a part of it.
